The Croatian city of Dubrovnik offers both old-world grandeur and pop-culture appeal. After all, the city has provided stunning backdrops for the HBO series Game of Thrones, and with good reason. Its Old Town is a UNESCO World Heritage Site with Medieval city walls, cobblestone streets, and Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque architecture. Today, the city also offers a gorgeous perch along with the Adriatic Sea, charming local culture, and several indulgent places to stay. Some hotels reflect that deep history, while some are delightfully modern. The best luxury hotels in Dubrovnik make you feel like royalty yourself.
