The NFL’s San Francisco 49ers don’t actually play in the City by the Bay—they crossed into Silicon Valley in 2014. Now, the five-time Super Bowl champs play at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, just outside the tech hub of San Jose. Aside from a variety of tech companies as neighbors, Levi’s Stadium also has a theme park next door—California’s Great America, now part of the Cedar Fair and Six Flags brand. Heading to a game or concert? Here are the best hotels near Levi’s Stadium.

Hyatt Regency Santa Clara (5101 Great America Pkwy; 408-200-1234) Santa Clara

US News & World Report calls this Hyatt Regency a “massive, 501-room hotel fit for meeting attendees,” in part because it’s attached to the Santa Clara Convention Center and is a third of a mile from Levi’s. But a leisure-oriented Google reviewer attests that “we love staying here when going to an event at Levi’s Stadium. It is located right across from the stadium! The pool is fabulous and they have cabanas also.” One Tripadvisor user likes that it is “walking distance from both the stadium and California’s Great America. The hotel has a great coffee bar with lots of yummy treats.” >> Book this hotel for less

Hilton Santa Clara (4949 Great America Pkwy; 408- 330-0001) Santa Clara

This 280-room Hilton with an outdoor pool “offers a coveted location that appeases a variety of travelers—across the street from the convention center and just one block from Levi’s Stadium,” writes US News & World Report, but adds that “because the property shares a parking lot with Levi’s Stadium, the area can get hectic when there are games.” A Google reviewer says it’s worth it: “If attending an event at Levi’s Stadium, this is the hotel for you. Very well organized and so convenient. A short eight- to 10-minute walk to the stadium and a large parking lot with no parking fees.” >> Book this hotel for less

Santa Clara Marriott (2700 Mission College Blvd.; 408-988-1500) Santa Clara

This 766-room Marriott boasts of having the largest outdoor pool in Silicon Valley and it’s just one mile from Levi’s Stadium. A Tripadvisor user writes that “we stayed here since it is an easy 15-minute walk to Levi’s stadium, but if you don’t want to walk, there are lots of pedicabs available to rent and take you to the stadium.” A Google reviewer adds that the hotel is also “walking distance to a couple of restaurant” and likes “the 25-meter lap pool and an outstanding gym with a full complement of equipment. Consistently good service across the entire property.” >> Book this hotel for less

Aloft Santa Clara (510 America Center Ct.; 408-263-3900) San Jose

This mod, boutique-style hotel (part of the Marriott family) is part of the America Center corporate complex, and a little more than one mile from Levi’s. A Google reviewer likes that it’s “so close to the Levi stadium yet far enough from the chaos. It’s a one-minute drive, a 10-minute walk, or a three-minute bike ride.” A Tripadvisor user calls the 175-room hotel “beautiful, hip” and likes that “they also have puzzles and board games to check out at the front desk. There’s water, tea and coffee available near the front desk—but no free breakfast.” >> Book this hotel for less

TETRA Hotel, Autograph Collection (400 W Java Dr.; 408-734-2300) Sunnyvale

Three miles from the stadium in Sunnyvale, this 200-room member of Marriott’s Autograph Collection offers a Zen oasis in Silicon Valley, decorated in earth tones and featuring a restaurant inspired by California’s seasonal ingredients. “Great newer hotel in a business park setting close to light rail,” writes a Google reviewer (Levi’s sits along the VTA line). A Tripadvisor user notes that the hotel shares a courtyard with the neighboring AC Marriott, and calls it “inviting and beautifully decorated with a California redwood theme,” while another appreciates the “comfortable modern rooms with a really lovely bathroom. Loved the Dyson hairdryer.” >> Book this hotel for less
