What is it like to stay at an Embassy Suites?

In a Nutshell: Originally founded in 1983 as part of the Holiday Inn family, Embassy Suites is now under the Hilton umbrella. There are over 250 properties across the U.S., Canada, and Latin America. The all-suites chain walks the line between upscale and down-to-earth, and is known for spacious suites and crowd-pleasing amenities.

What to Expect: Embassy Suites manages to deliver an experience that is efficient, but also very pleasant. Suites offer basic kitchen amenities and room to spread out, while public spaces tend to be modern and equipped with everything you need. Families will love having a fridge and microwave in the room, while business travelers can rely on free 24/7 access to services such as printing, faxing, and Wi-Fi in the business centers.

Design: You can expect low-key contemporary style and many of the conveniences of home. Rooms and public spaces offer modern, clean lines and a soothingly neutral color palette. Lobbies are often expansive atrium spaces with plenty of seating and power outlets. Every suite features a good-sized couch in the living area, plus Serta Suite Dreams mattresses and non-allergenic bedding.

Room Categories: Most units are two-room suites (often 400–485 sq. ft.) that offer separate sleeping and living areas, multiple flatscreen TVs, and a microwave, mini-fridge and wet bar. Premium suites come with upgraded perks, such as non-alcoholic drinks, snacks and K-Cups. Some Embassy Suites offer an 1,000-square-foot executive suite with three rooms and a boardroom-style table.

Fun Fact: Using a digital floor plan, Hilton Honors members can choose their exact suite before they arrive.
