United States
Field & Stream Lodge Bozeman, Bozeman
Less than two hours from multiple Yellowstone National Park entrances, this luxe property for the new hospitality brand Field & Stream Lodge Co. opened in Big Sky Country in May. Designed for outdoor enthusiasts, the property entails 179 rooms and suites, an indoor pool, outdoor hot tubs and canoe-shaped fire pits. Inside, the vibe is vintage fishing lodge with wood-paneled walls, plaid carpets, and cozy upholstered furnishings, along with mounted antlers and an antique canoe suspended from the ceiling. There’s a 13,000-square-foot spa offering biohacking treatments such as LED light therapy and a cold “snow room” and, high on the 17th floor, the famous rotating cocktail lounge, Pier Top, which offers 360-degree views of the city skyline and the Atlantic Ocean. >> Book this hotel for less
InterContinental Indianapolis, Indianapolis
It was big news in February 2025 when downtown Indianapolis got its first luxury hotel to open in nearly two decades. InterContinental gave this landmark 1920s office building just off Monument Circle a $120 million transformation that faithfully restored the building’s historic features while injecting a modern pop-art vibe with a fabulous collection of works by contemporary local artists, including a portrait of Indiana native son David Letterman created entirely from floppy disks. The hotel’s 170 rooms feature a cream-and-blue palette and spacious marble bathrooms and the buzzy Astrea rooftop bar offers views of the city. >> Book this hotel for less

The 287-room property feels modern yet pure Miami; think ocean-view suites with floor-to-ceiling windows to a lobby that blends indoors and outdoors. Standout amenities include two heated pools, a private beach, spa, fitness classes and a José Andrés-led culinary program spanning four restaurants. >> Book this hotel for less
Waldorf Astoria New York, New York
Reopened since July, the iconic Park Avenue hotel is back in all its art deco glamour after an eight-year, head-to-toe renovation, now with 375 rooms that radiate Upper East Side chic and a restored historic Peacock Alley lounge. The nearly century-old hotel was long a playground for royalty—from Monaco’s Prince Rainier III and Grace Kelly to the Windsors and American Camelot. John F. Kennedy celebrated his 46th birthday in the Grand Ballroom. History buffs can admire the hotel’s meticulously restored bronze entranceway and limestone brickwork, the 1893 Chicago World’s Fair bronze clock and Cole Porter’s piano. New features include a 30,000-square-foot spa and an oasis-like outdoor terrace. >> Book this hotel for less

Europe
Rosewood Amsterdam, Amsterdam
If you love hotels that occupy historic buildings, you’ll adore the total transformation of the 17th-century neoclassical Palace of Justice, a monumental landmark on the Prinsengracht. The hotel’s designers wisely kept the building’s grand staircases and enormous windows overlooking the leafy canal, but reimagined the 134 guestrooms with a contemporary Dutch aesthetic. Landscape architect Piet Oudolf, known for New York City’s High Line, designed the surrounding gardens. >> Book this hotel for less
The Palace, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Madrid
Refreshed following a two-year transformation, a classic luxury hotel in Madrid has reopened and once again stolen the spotlight. When King Alfonso XIII’s pet project debuted in 1912, The Palace was Europe’s largest hotel, the first in Spain with a phone and toilet in every room. Such modern conveniences, along with a choice address near the Prado museum, helped attract creative luminaries like Picasso, Dalí, and Hemingway, who celebrated the hotel’s dry martini in his novel The Sun Also Rises. The hotel’s centerpiece is a stunning stained-glass and wrought-iron cupola, beneath which lies an all-day dining venue. The 470 guestrooms and suites feature hand-painted wallpaper, midcentury chandeliers and Frette linens on the beds. >> Book this hotel for less

Set in a quiet pocket of the tony Left Bank within walking distance of the Eiffel Tower, this hotel occupies a belle epoque landmark that once housed one of France’s earliest telephone exchanges. Spanning six floors, 118 rooms and suites overlook a quiet courtyard garden or wide avenue. The interior design is sleek and modern, with leather armchairs, white marble and patterned carpets. There are two restaurants and an underground wellness center with a spacious gym. And don’t miss the rooftop bar boasting unparalleled views of the capital’s iconic monuments. >> Book this hotel for less

Emerging from a multiyear renovation, one of Prague’s most iconic hotels—a nine-story, 1974 brutalist landmark in the UNESCO-listed Old Town—has retained many original design features in the 320 guest rooms, some of which offer views of the Vltava River from the upper floors. There’s a modern beer garden and a rooftop fine-dining restaurant, plus a 15,000-square-foot spa and the city center’s only heated indoor-outdoor pool. >> Book this hotel for less
