Nothing says “Paris vacation” quite like a view of the Eiffel Tower right outside your hotel window. The Eiffel Tower is located in the 7th Arrondissement on the famed Left Bank. But you don’t need to stay in that area to get a grand view of the icon. Some view-friendly hotels on the Right Bank are closer to the Champs-Elysées or the Louvre. Keep in mind that even in a hotel with prime views, some rooms face in other directions. So be sure to request one when you’re booking. Here are five Paris hotels with an Eiffel Tower view.

Hôtel San Régis (12 Rue Jean Goujon; 33-1-44-95-16-16) 8th Arr.

This 19th century mansion—with 42 rooms and suites—flies under the radar, tucked on a residential street in the shopping-rich Golden Triangle area. “Balcony views of the Eiffel Tower are lovely and the perfect location to sit and eat breakfast,” says one Tripadvisor user who also “loved the design of this hotel, from the fabric walls to the spiral staircase and stain-glass windows.” One Google reviewer raves about service: “Any time we needed anything, the reception desk took care of it. They obtained cabs and reservations for us and tickets to the Louvre.”    >> Book this hotel for less

Pullman Paris Tour Eiffel (18 Avenue De Suffren; 33-1-44-38-56-00) 15th Arr.

You’ll get up-close views of the Eiffel Tower from this 430-room hotel that sits near the base of the Tower. “This is the place to be,” says a Tripadvisor user. “Location, comfort, quality of stay—our five nights here checked all the boxes for me.” The ambience is more contemporary than traditional. “After a many days of staying in more historical locations, it was nice to get to the Pullman,” one Google reviewer says. “Tons of modern amenities, a large bathroom, and a large shower.”    >> Book this hotel for less

Hôtel Le Walt Paris (37 Avenue de la Motte-; 33-1-45-51-55-83) 7th Arr.

Fodors applauds this art-themed boutique hotel for its “convenient location, almost at the foot of the Eiffel Tower. It’s just minutes from Les Invalides,” as well as its “tasteful decor, and friendly, accommodating staff.” The Tower itself is a five-minute walk away, or you can walk to the Louvre (1.4 miles), Arc de Triomphe (1.4 miles), or Musée d’Orsay (1.0 mile). “Incredible hotel and value for money,” says one Tripadvisor user. “The restaurants nearby are brilliant as well and the metro is right outside.” Note that the hotel’s executive rooms have more space than view rooms, but lack the view.    >> Book this hotel for less

Le Metropolitan, Paris Tour Eiffel (10 Place de Mexico; 33-1-56-90-40-04) 16th Arr.

Among plush hotels with an Eiffel Tower view, this one has 30 rooms, 10 suites, and a spa. It sits in a six-story building with Paris’ classic Haussmann-style architecture. Ask for an upgraded room for a four-poster bed and request Eiffel Tower views. Some Google reviewers say the view is the best selling point. “Room with amazing view in a nice neighborhood. Few small items may inconvenience you.. like no WiFi connection in the room.” On Tripadvisor, one reviewer says that “the rooms are small… perfect for those that spend most of their time out in the city of Paris.”    >> Book this hotel for less

Shangri-La Paris (10 Avenue d’Iéna; 33-1-53-67-19-98) 16th Arr.

This 101-room hotel, the former home of Napoleon’s nephew, looks out to both the Eiffel Tower and the Seine. “Nab a front-row seat to the Eiffel Tower’s nightly light show at this palace,” says Forbes, pointing out that some rooms, plus the hotel’s rooftop lounge, have excellent views. The location has other perks, too. “Service impeccable,“ says a Tripadvisor user who had a room with a Tower view. “Would definitely recommend staying here—also very close to the bateaux bus, which is the only way to travel when in Paris.”    >> Book this hotel for less
