About 10 miles northeast of downtown Los Angeles, the community of Inglewood has become an entertainment hub, thanks largely to SoFi Stadium. The high-tech stadium, with a giant oval screen hanging over the field, is home to both the Los Angeles Rams and the Los Angeles Chargers, and has provided a stage for epic touring acts such as Taylor Swift, BTS, and Harry Styles. While Inglewood itself does not have a deep inventory of hotels, it is convenient to more areas that do, as well as Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). Here are the best hotels near SoFi Stadium.
H Hotel Los Angeles, Curio Collection by Hilton (6151 W Century Blvd.; 310-215-3000) Los Angeles
Located a few minutes from LAX and four miles from SoFi, this upscale boutique Hilton offers a sweet spot between downtown, the airport and Manhattan Beach, 20 minutes away. “Sleek, modern trappings await,” writes Travel+Leisure, thanks to elegant decor and a rooftop deck with views of the Pacific. “Great location near LAX and was easy to get to Sofi Stadium by Uber,” writes a Google reviewer. “Our room was clean and super comfortable. The high ceilings are amazing as well. There’s a Coffee Bean, Subway, and a restaurant on site.” >> Book this hotel for less
Best Western Airpark Hotel-Los Angeles Lax Airport (640 W Manchester Blvd.; 310-677-7378) Inglewood
While some hotels in this area charge upwards of $50 a night just to park, this Best Western two miles from SoFi charges only $10 a night for your car and offers free breakfast. “Walking distance to the stadium district and airport, and there is a great taco shop across the street,” writes a Google reviewer. One Tripadvisor reviewer calls it “surprisingly quiet, even though it is close to the freeway and LAX,” while another writes that the room was “big and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast had a choice of waffles, sausage, eggs, and cakes.” >> Book this hotel for less
Residence Inn by Marriott Los Angeles LAX/Century Boulevard (5933 W Century Blvd.; 310-568-7700) Los Angeles
It’s perhaps no surprise that this Residence Inn near LAX offers airport shuttles for guests, but it also sometimes offers free shuttle to concerts, according to online reviewers. Plus, as a Tripadvisor user says, the hotel has “soundproof windows—couldn’t hear the planes taking off.” Online users had fun with the hotel robot that brings items to your room. One Yelper says, “We were pleasantly surprised by how nice this place is. The rooms are spacious, and customer service is top-notch. They have complimentary breakfast, and there is also a Starbucks, ZPizza and Jersey Mike’s on site.” >> Book this hotel for less
Sonder Lüm (3900 W Century Blvd.; 617-300-0956) Inglewood
SoFi is less than a mile from this 180-room hotel that has a crisp, cheery décor and a pool. “A 10-minute walk from SoFi,” writes a Tripadvisor user. “Loved not having to fight with everybody else to try to get a ride share after the concert. Lobby was all done up Taylor Swift themed, so they clearly pay attention to their clientele.” That said, the hotel has a self-service atmosphere. “A modern, no-frills hotel,” writes one Google reviewer. “Very limited staff, and most things are done through their app, so if you need anything out of the ordinary, you might get frustrated.”
La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Inglewood (3945 W Imperial Hwy.; 301-680-3333) Inglewood
This 72-room La Quinta is “a short walk to SoFi Stadium” (about 2 miles) writes a Google reviewer, even if the “area is a little rough and parking is kind of tight.” On Yelp, one user notes that staffers were helpful in setting up a ride to stadium, while another user who came for Harry Styles says that “the continental breakfast was good and we liked that they had ice water with lemons in the lobby at all times. There were a lot of other fans staying, so it was fun to see people there for a good time.” >> Book this hotel for less
